Always a step ahead of the rest, Zara Spa at the Mövenpick Resort Dead Sea was the winner of the Hotel Spa of the Year category at the Living Well Awards. A first of its kind initiative in the Kingdom, Living Well Awards included 21 categories, each with a minimum of five nominees per category, except for the Top 10 Restaurants category, which boasted a whopping 22 venues. A total of 132 individuals, organizations and businesses were named, with an astounding one million votes cast. The online voting process closed on December 31, 2016, and the winners in each category were announced on the night of the ceremony.
Winner of the coveted Hotel Spa of the Year Award went to the dazzling Zara Spa at the Mövenpick Resort Dead Sea. Outvoting the four other nominees in the category, where Zara Spa remains the preferred escape of choice for visitors both from Jordan and abroad.
At the gala dinner, Director of Communications and Public Relations for Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts Layali Nashashibi received the prestigious award, saying, “Thank you all for your votes and support. The Living Well Awards is celebration of the who’s who in the lifestyle, arts and culture, food and beverage, and fashion and beauty community. The goal is to recognize the faces and change makers in Jordan on a variety of fronts and to highlight what the Kingdom has to offer in terms of talent and excellence, including the cultural contributors who have added the most to this year’s art, design, cultural, and even controversial conversations.
