Every April, Hyatt’s Global Month of Community Service takes place, where thousands of Hyatt colleagues from hundreds of hotels around the world take the opportunity to dedicate time to give back and care for their communities.
Grand Hyatt Amman’s commitment to giving back to its local community takes on a special meaning every April. This year, Grand Hyatt Amman, in collaboration with Tkiyet Um Ali, collectively volunteered to make an impact in the lives of one Jordanian family. The team of volunteers took it upon themselves to improve this family’s lives by renovating and improving their house located in the city Ajloun, known as “Beit Um Zakaria”.
The project was completed after eight full days of hard work, with the volunteers working daily shifts from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on the full renovation of the house, which included maintenance, building, painting, cleaning and even decorating.
Grand Hyatt Amman, in collaboration with Tkiyet Um Ali, was proud to be able to provide this family with the fundamental necessity of safe shelter to strengthen the notion of community welfare, and is looking forward to continuing the tradition of Hyatt Thrive in the future.
